Originally from Sweden, La Fleur now calls the vibrant, bohemian city of Berlin her home. It's from here that her imprint, Powerplant Records operates, just a stone's throw away from the clubs that inspire her and the cavernous rooms where she honed her skills as a selector. Alas, while you may not know La Fleur from her deeply hypnotic sets at Panorama Bar, it's probably more likely she came to your attention through her debut single 'Flowerhead', ranked by DJ |Mag as one of the top tracks of 2011. The 'Petals On Fire EP' sums up La Fleur's inimitable take on house music in three tracks; endlessly deep and skilfully refined, but with the raw energy that many strive for and very few achieve.
