Dennis Ferrer has been a fixture on the underground dance circuit since the early '90s, but the past couple of years have seen his career sky-rocketing like never before. Whether it was his genre-defying smash 'Sandcastles' with partner-in-crime Jerome Sydenham, the epoch-defining 'Son Of Raw', his crucial mixes of Blaze's epic 'Most Precious Love' and Fish Go Deep's slow-burning 'The Cure & The Cause', or simply club anthems like 'Church Lady' and 'Underground Is My Home', there's been no escaping this New York producer of late. Who better, then, to take care of mixing duties on the latest 'In The House' album - the 20th in this long-running series? A resolutely upfront, underground affair, 'Dennis Ferrer In The House' takes in 28 tracks over the course of two CDs. Highlights include Carl Craig's stunning remix of X-Press 2's 'Kill 100', Booka Shade's 'In White Rooms' and the welcome return-to-form that is Ultra Nate's 'Love's The Only Drug', but there's also room for a host of underground talent like Kiko Navarro, Peven Everett, Osunlade, Bah Samba, Tortured Soul and Ben Westbeech - not to mention one stone cold classic in the form of Byron Stingily's 'Get Up Everybody'.
