Ame continue in their rich vein of form and pull off the near impossible by remixing a classic tune and producing a track at least as good as its predecessor. Their stunning reworking of DJ Gregory's 'Elle' retains the ambient keys and floating melodies of the original, while their trademark driving basslines and beautifully layered percussion combined with a well-timed and ultimately epic break, make an unmistakeable mark upon the production. DJ Gregory made the unusual move of commissioning Ame for this remix, and with results like this who can blame him. An awesome collaboration.
