Hot on the heels of the excellent K-Klass mix of soul legend Candi Staton’s ‘Musical Freedom’ the Shapeshifters drop two fresh re-works on their own Nocturnal Groove imprint. Their ‘Big Fish, Little Fish’ Remix is a belting tech-trancer, using a lesser-known part of Staton’s iconic vocal and ramping it into the stratosphere with punchy synths and pounding drums. The ‘Classic Re-Work’ stays a little closer to earth with big piano keys and soaring strings very much the order of the day. Throw those hands up…
