After a six month hiatus, ATFC returns to the loving embrace of Defected with a superb slice of vocal, tech-edged house music. Penned by Rae but performed by Lisa Shaw, ‘Walk Away’ is typically ATFC; slick, driving beats, dominant synth stabs and polished, techy drums with Shaw’s superb vocal bringing the whole package together perfectly. The Lektrosoul Dub strips back the vocals to leave the elements of the track exposed, while the VB Weekender Vocal builds itself around a funk-strut bassline and dreamy chords.
