Strictly Rhythms - Presented and Mixed By Aaron Ross

It is highly unlikely that you have not come across a Strictly Rhythm release, especially if you like to dabble in a little DJing. Strictly Rhythm is world renowned as THE seminal, cornerstone, US Dance music label. It famously kick started the careers of Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Armand Van Helden Josh Wink and Kenny Dope, amongst others. This year the label celebrates its 20th anniversary. A series of hot new singles has recently re-instated Strictly Rhythm as a premier authority in dance music and it now releases the new DJ friendly digital only compilation series, Strictly Rhythms. The first in the series is mixed by Aaron Ross, the international DJ and house music producer who is one of Strictly Rhythm's chief A and Rs. A former Radio 1Xtra and Galaxy Network presenter, Ross was recently highlighted by 'Billboard Magazine' as one of the most promising young A and Rs in the business. Strictly Rhythm Volume 1 is a mix of both contemporary upfront tracks and classic releases presenting the sound of Strictly Rhythm. The release will be available in mixed and DJ friendly unmixed bundles. The selection features no fewer than six previously unreleased mixes or edits including Funkagenda's new remix of Josh Wink's seminal classic Higher State of Consciousness, Aaron's very own 2009 edit of Roger Sanchez's early 90s floorfiller, Shake Shake, and the brand new main room house sound of Afrojack's Radioman. Aaron Ross has also added his own flavour in the mix with special acapella additions of Logic's The Warning, Colonel Abrams' Victim of Loving You, Bingo Players' Touch Me and Osunlade's Momma's Groove.
