Dark, boundary-pushing Dane (Andrews) Trentemoller will tour North America this autumn.
His extensive set of dates kicks off October 12 in Boston before taking in venues in cities New York, Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles, to name but a few. There are also three Canadian stops – October 15 (Montreal), October 16 (Toronto) and November 2 (Vancouver).
Trentemoller has experimenting with leftfield electronica and indie-rock, ever since the release of last year’s hugely acclaimed album Into The Great Wide Yonder; prior to that he was synonymous with slick tech-soul and minimal on labels including Poker Flat and Naked.
These new tour dates promise significant, dance-friendly re-workings of Trentemoller’s recent ambient material, but without losing their original atmospheric vision. The gigs will also precede new mix album Remixed/Reworked, featuring some of Trentemoller’s recent remix work as well as remixes, by others, of tracks from Into The Great Wide Yonder.
