Last month Riva Starr launched his brand new label Snatch! Records with releases from David Keno and Donk Boys.

“I just felt the time was right to launch my own label in order to spread the music I love and I like playing in the club.” He told us. “You won’t find only one genre; the rule is that it has to be something that I play in the club and with the releases I hope to bring some serious fun to the dancefloor!”.

It’s been an emphatic rise to the top for Riva Starr over the last year or so, from virtual unknown to a name on everyone’s lips. Now a huge success himself, Riva's aim is to push new talents and well-established forward thinking producers. “I'm going to be releasing track from David Keno, Pirupa, Tapesh, Horatio, Donk Boys, Thomas Schumacker, Santos, Major Lazer, Ramon Tapia, Kolombo, Sedda &D’Phil, Steve Mac, Nadastrom and more....it’s going to be busy but I hope the fresh sound and approach to the music and artists makes it stand out among all the other labels."

The first releases have been well received and Riva’s already got his first Snatch! label party planned. “It’s at T Bar on June 4th with myself David Keno and Pirupa, plus hopefully there will be lots of European parties lined up after the summer.”
With 9 EPs lined up its going to be an exhilarating (joy)ride for the label’s first year. Hold onto your hubcaps…
