Royksopp are preparing the ground for their new album, Senior.

The set follows Junior, which was released earlier this year, and as the name might suggest, takes on a more mature sound.

And where Junior featured vocals from the likes of Lykke Li, Karin Dreijer Andersson from The Knife and Roby, Senior is entirely instrumental.

Comparing the two albums, the band said: 'Senior is the introverted, dwelling and sometimes graceful counterpart - brimful with dark secrets and distorted memories, insisting "I'm old, I've got experience...”. Senior is furthermore an album about age, horses and being subdued - with devils breathing down your neck.'

It drops on September 13 through Wall Of Sound.
