Progressive house legend Sasha has this week unveiled a new record label, Last Night On Earth.

The label promises to showcase new productions by Sasha and favoured peers including Thomas Smith and Max Cooper. Sleeve designs (for the physical releases) are by graphic design team Cure Studios and illustrator Susie Wright and, joined together, create a visual ‘landscape’ of the cities closest to Sasha’s heart.

Last Night On Earth, described by some as a relaunch of Sasha’s old label Emfire, was kick-started at this year’s International Music Summit in Ibiza. Sasha produced the track Cut Me Down exclusively for the event, and discussed its production as part of one its live seminars; he subsequently delivered it to Layo & Bushwacka! to remix without listening to the original. The two versions form the new label’s first release.
