Kompakt's annual beatless fest Pop Ambient will drop in the New Year.

Pop Ambient 2011, the 11th in the series, comprises 12 ambient tracks from the label's key players and Pop Ambient regulars.

Label founders Wolfgang Voigt and Jurgen Paape are among those contributing, as is The Orb veteran Thomas Fehlmann.

Also featuring are Triola, bvdub, Mikkel Metal and Bhutan Tiger Rescue, a project by British producer Ewan Pearson and October.
