Berlin’s deep house specialist Phonique (AKA Michael Vater) has mixed the third instalment of Systematic Colours – released, of course, via Marc Romboy’s cult Systematic Recordings label.

Phonique, whose impressive CV covers productions on labels including Crosstown Rebels, Dessous and Cocoon, sources Systematic tracks recorded over the past two years by the likes of Robert Babicz, Chelonis R Jones and Romboy himself (including a Romboy collaboration with Detroit ‘head’ Blake Baxter). The flavour is very much tech-edged four-to-the-floor.

Systematic Colours Volume Three arrives October 7.
