Pete Tong is to follow Paul Oakenfold in taking on a residency in Las Vegas.

Kicking off on the 22nd he will play five 'pool party' dates from May through to October at the Encore Beach Club at the Wynn Las Vegas resort.

Said Tong: “I'm thrilled to have a residency at the Encore/Wynn this year.

“The eyes of the world are on Las Vegas as a 'must go to' destination for dance and electronic music right now, so this is the perfect time to be able to bring fresh new music to such a brilliant location.”

The venue is plush to say the least, and features three tiered swimming pools, floating lily pads, 26 cabanas and eight private bungalows.
