Orbital have announced that they're planning a new album

The veteran techno legends will release the new set next year, and will do a short nationwide tour to-boot.

The Hartnoll brothers hung up their headphones and headlamps in 2004, but then came out of retirement again in 2009. And while they've toured their legendary live show since then, this will be the first new material to emerge.

Yet to have a name, it should arrive in the spring, with live dates confirmed for April.
