Norway’s shimmering, acid-tinged nu-disco prince Lindstrom will release a new album, his second (not counting 2009 Christabelle collaboration Real Life Is No Cool) early in 2012.

Six Cups Of Rebel follows 2008 solo debut Where You Go I Go Too and the indications are that Lindstrom will re-direct from his trademark cosmic mirrorball sound to a darker, sharper-edged tech vibe.

One of the new album’s cuts, De Javu, is already accessible via the web, featuring Lindstrom’s vocals for the first time. The full album is slated for release on Smalltown Supersound on February 6, 2012.
