Simian Mobile Disco will release a new compilation album next month that captures the vibe of their relatively new residency at New York club FIXED.

The appropriately-titled Simian Mobile Disco Is Fixed, will feature a upbeat suite of eclectic, yet sophisticated dancefloor numbers from the likes of DJ Hell, Paul Woolford, Chateau Flight and Etienne Jaumet.

The boys’ latest track, Nerve Salad, is also thrown in, as well as Carl Craig’s gloriously strident remix of Hot Chip cut One Life Stand – a 10-minute, gradually escalating tech-disco dark-athon of outstanding dancefloor beauty.

Simian Mobile Disco Is Fixed will be released October 12 on New York imprint Defend Music.
