Magda, the increasingly rated Berlin-based Pole, will release her debut album, From The Fallen Page, on October 22.

The album is set for circulation via Berlin’s minimalist imprint Minus but Magda promises a rich and complex mix of intense percussion, crunching basslines and dark, twisted disco.

Magda is best know as a DJ and has steadily built her profile in recent years thanks to a stream of high-profile, well-chosen international sets. But early demo album Fact and Friction, and mix CDs such as She’s A Dancing Machine and, most recently, Fabric 49 have further enhanced her reputation.

Magda emigrated from Poland to the US when she was nine, and spent much of her formative years in Detroit alongside techno hard-hitters Richie Hawtin and Daniel Bell. She moved to current home Berlin in 1998.
