Jenifa Mayanja, wife of Underground Quality don Jus-Ed, will release a remixed take on her second album, Woman Walking In The Shadows, next month.

Mayanja’s original long-player, released last year to considerable acclaim, is a striking mix of emotive, subtly layered deep house textures. Similarly-vibed artists have been asked to reinterpret Mayanja’s flow; Underground Quality associate Anton Zap and Detroit-based Kai Alce re-work cuts such as It Happened To Me and the title track, whilst Mayanja also updates some of her material.

The new record, out on February 10 via Bu-Mako Recordings, is vinyl only.
