Holic vs JBO in Notting Hill

Holic are joining forces with JBO and getting involved in the incredible musical energy of Notting Hill this weekend, heading over to west London to show them how the east throws a party.

Started in the early 90s by Terry Farley, Andrew Weatherall, Cymon Eckel, Pete Heller and Steven Hall, JBO released underground house music by the likes of Underworld, The Chemical Brothers and the classic Black Science Orchestra's 'Where Were You?'. JBO was one of the first labels to represent British House music on a global stage, with the DJs of New York popularising their releases and raising their profile. Not keen to lean just on their label output, JBO put on some of the best one-off parties in the UK during the golden years of Acid House.

Spread over the course of 12 hours, Holic will be joined by JBOs Terry Farley and X-Press2 for what is lining up to be their most exciting party of the year. As veterans of the house scene, both DJs are digging deep into their collections for this special party at Acklam Road's Westbourne Studios, and will be supported by Holic's resident DJs to keep the selections sweet all day and into the night.

Limited advance tickets are still available from Resident Advisor
