As mentioned last week in Defected’s exclusive interview with Souvenir co-founder Ali Schwarz, a debut album is on the way from widely respected German DJ and producer Ruede Hagelstein.

Soft Pack, due out on Tiefschwarz’s Souvenir imprint in November, promises a change of pace from Hagelstein’s usual tech-house blitz; listeners should expect everything from folk and chill-out to electro-pop, layered with vocals by the artist himself and musicianship by his new band The Noblettes. Soft Pack also includes an ambient new version of Hagelstein club anthem Emergency.

Hagelstein has been producing for several years now and is best known on the DJ circuit for his residency at Berlin uber-club Watergate.

Soft Pack is released November 28.
