The Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada and La Roux are among the UK artists scooping nominations for next year's Grammy Awards.

Groove Armada and The Chemicals will slug it out for Best Electronic/Dance Album (for Black Light and Further, respectively) alongside BT, Goldfrapp and La Roux.

Meanwhile, in the Best Dance Recording category, there are nods to Goldfrapp once again for Rocket, La Roux's In For The Kill and Robyn's Dancing On My Own, as well as tracks by Lady Gaga and Rihanna.

Elsewhere, The Roots & John Legend are hotly tipped to take Best R&B album for Wake Up, while Jay-Z's Empire State of Mind is nominated for Record of the Year, Best Rap Collaboration and Best Rap Song, with Kanye West's Power up for Best Rap Solo Performance.

Eminem did well too, grabbing himself a whopping 10 nominations.
