It’s that time of year, with a number of European festivals suddenly confirming their club, urban and electronica talent for the summer.

Jay-Z, Orbital and Friendly Fires will play this year’s Isle Of Wight Festival (June 11-13,) whilst Faithless, The Prodigy, David Guetta and The Pet Shop Boys are in the diary for V(Essex and Staffordshire, England, August 21-22.) The INmusic Festival in Zagreb, Croatia (June 22-23) welcomes Massive Attack; Scotland’s T In The Park drops Eminem, Faithless, Calvin Harris, Goldfrapp and Hot Chip (July 9-11) and Spain’s ever forward-thinking Sonar (June 17-19) promises The Chemical Brothers, LCD Soundsystem, Matthew Herbert and Dizzee Rascal – note that this year Sonar splits its time between Barcelona and A Coruña.

Before all that, Laurent Garnier fronts France’s renowned spring gathering Nuits Sonores (May 12-15) alongside Joris Voorn, Dixon, Claude VonStroke, Dennis Ferrer and Body & Soul boys Francois K, Danny Krivit and Joe Claussell.
