Two of the Netherlands’ biggest dance festivals will run on the same day next month, August 6, featuring a wealth of clubland talent between them.
Welcome To The Future, taking place in Oostzaan on the outskirts of Amsterdam, is now in its fifth year and continues to promote rising Dutch talent (names confirmed include Kabale und Liebe, Steve Rachmad), alongside homegrown stars (the likes of Joris Voorn) and international acts (Soul Clap, Nina Kraviz, Slam and Kollektiv Turmstrasse are all scheduled).
Meanwhile, Dance Valley, in its 17th year, promises an audience five times as large – 50,000 are expected – and special guests Radio Slave, Josh Wink, James Zabiela, Steve Angello, Eric Prydz (as Pryda), Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Bug, Davide Squillace and Layo & Bushwacka! Dance Valley, often referred to as the ‘Woodstock Of Dance’, returns to Spaarnwoude in Haarlem.
