Daft Punk will release their new album in November... sort of.

The soundtrack they have written for Tron sequel Tron: Legacy is set to drop a month before the film hits the screens in the UK.

But the project won't be what fans of the French electronic luminaries might be expecting, according to reports. The soundtrack to the film, which is released in the UK on December 17, was composed and recorded with over 100 live musicians at London studio AIR.

Details remain vague, but it's thought that there may be some electronic reworkings in the pipeline.
