Techno legend Carl Cox has been announced as headliner for Bedrock’s impending 12th birthday party at London’s Brixton Academy.

The Intec Digital boss will play Bedrock 12 on October 2nd, as well as Bedrock founder John Digweed (of course…) and a host of other major names, as yet unconfirmed.

The 4,500-capacity party represents Cox’s final UK gig of 2010 and tickets are already selling fast.  Digweed promises “a night of forward-thinking music and a few classics thrown in for good measure to give the fans a big thank you… It’s the biggest production we have done; we wanted it to be something memorable."
