Delightfully random DJ duo The 2 Bears are set to release their first album in January.

The boys – Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard and Greco-Roman Soundsystem’s Raf Daddy – stir all manner of styles including reggae, R&B, electro, garage and pop into their highly unique house blueprint. It’s a formula that has worked well for them on the road these past few years, and on several popular EP releases.

Tracks from some of those releases are included on the new album, Be Strong, as well as brand new jams. A new single, Work, arrives December 12; the album following January 30, 2011 – on Southern Fried.
