The Shapeshifters have been running their celebrated series of events in London for 10 years –  7 years  of which have been alongside  their own Nocturnal Groove imprint under the ‘Nocturnal’ brand.

10 years in clubland is a milestone and with that in mind, the Nocturnal Groove crew wanted to mark the occasion with something special. The opportunity arose to host a showcase event at matter; the perfect place to celebrate with the people that have helped create the unique ‘nocturnal’ atmosphere.  The line-up at matter is also one of their best yet. The last time Frankie Knuckles joined the Shapeshifters behind the decks at ‘Nocturnal’ was a very special occasion; we eagerly anticipate another seminal experience when ‘The Godfather’ and the Shapeshifters get together again!!    

The celebrations will take place on Saturday 27th February for what will be their largest club event in the UK.  Expect the highest quality production and the finest house grooves throughout as  ‘Nocturnal’ turn up the heat. Confirmed DJs on the night already include Frankie Knuckles & the Shapeshifters, ATFC, Gramophonedzie, Pookie and Simon Hawes with a number of further acts to be announced in the coming weeks. In keeping with the celebratory theme, on the night Gramophonedzie will be marking the release  of his super hot debut  single ‘Why Don’t You ‘ on  Positiva  and ATFC will also be marking the launch of his ATFC In The House London ’10 compilation on Defected Records.
