French producer Yass delivers his second outing for Jamie Lewis’s always impressive Purple imprint, and once again shows that despite not having a massive output, he is one producer with style. The main mix treads the fine line between dark yet soulful, and if you liked 'Church Lady' then this could be right up your street. Also included is the tougher Badyard dub and you have to think the title's no coincidence, as it's clearly reminiscent of the Morales dubs of the nineties. Rounding off the release is another dub that uses the vocal hook to its maximum potential. (CZ)
