Like in previous years, the album is compiled and mixed by Defected head honcho Simon Dunmore and contains an upfront, sterling selection of tracks, from the deep and soulful, funky and jazzy right through to the deeper and more electronic sounds that will be present in many a main room in any club on the island. Standout tracks come from Todd Terry Allstars, Marc Evans, Daniel Bovie & Roy Rox, Soul Central, Mr V, Martin Solveig, Cevin Fisher – actually the list is endless. Almost every track on the album is one that you are sure to enjoy, and will be hearing much more of in the weeks (and months) to come.
