As a rule of thumb, anything with Kenny Bobien on it is worth checking out, and this is no exception. Originally released way back on Flatline Records, I Shall Not Be Moved is one of the most uplifting, inspirational pieces of house music you will ever hear. Fact. Now it’s back with a bang for 2007 on the Soulfuric label, and with a heavy remix package to boot. First of the remixes comes from DJ Meme who has kept most of the original parts and combined it with fresh drums and keys, bringing this fine track to a whole new audience. Meme has included a rather cool Reprise, and there’s also Beats for the creative heads out there. Soulfuric’s own Brian Tappert steps in next, and delivers his popular 2004 Re-Edit as well as his Promised Land Dub, which is just perfect for the main room. Next up on remix duties are Soul Creation, who have created a much deeper vibe with their Revisited Mix. Their Higher Power Dub is another main room thumper which still manages to stay deep. Finally, Soulfuric have included the Original Extended Club Mix which speaks for itself. From the word go, you are treated to an 8 minute slice of proper, uplifting gospel house.
