Last years’ underground smash from Nick Holder & Kaie AKA Trackheadz returns with new mixes from New York house don Mr V, who is currently riding the crest of a wave after the critical success of his debut album “Welcome Home.” Here we see Mr V take the already amazing original into new territory, adding a warm Rhodes line and a super deep analogue bass to a set of vocals that are twisted and delayed for maximum effect. However it is the dub that is likely to find favour with the more discerning house heads as shuffling beats accompany a full on jazzy Rhodes solo in a typical Mr V / Sole Channel style reminiscent of V’s previous work such as “Something Wit Jazz”. Support for the original, and these new mixes, is coming from the likes of Kerri Chandler, Aaron Ross and Louie Vega showing you what a formidable record this really is.
