House music legend Terry Hunter and vocal legend Byron Stingily have come up trumps with this release under the Stone Island moniker, and delivered on Kenny Dope’s ever-hot label. I Waited For You is a proper soulful jam, weighed heavy with uplifting keys. There’s also a reprise and a beat tool for the more creative DJs out there. The best mix of the bunch comes from Mr Dope himself. His ‘gutta’ remix style works really well here, with snare drums aplenty. One thing’s for sure, there’s stacks of soul in them there grooves, and as such is well worth your hard earned. (CS)
