The first release on Soul Deluxe Recordings and what a better way to start with mixes on this package come in the form of a Classic and Original, MoD & Staffan Thorsell, Central Avenue and Gregory Del Piero. The Original mix has the warm soulful vocal you can expect from Steven Stone, classic keys and a tight production which will fit into any Soul Heaven set. Classic mix is up next on this brilliant package, very similar to the Original but with a bit more of a punch. MoD & Staffan Thorsell mix is a slightly tribal affair, tribal beats seem to just trip over in the background whilst Nyla sings her heart out as in the other mixes. Ideal peaktime house music at its finest. Central Avenue produce a wicked remix that is full of the Central Avenue magic, these guys always deliver when it comes to Soulful House. The vocal is working to full effect and this mix almost has an old school UK Garage feel to it, peaktime action at its best. Finally after four amazing mixes Gregory Del Piero steps up the mixing desk and as per usual he produces a masterpiece, after a minute the bassline drops out and the vocal is used for a couple of seconds in accappella form. An extremely funky Bass guitar runs all the way through this track which adds a whole new level to this track. Brilliant first release for Soul Deluxe and all in all an awesome package that will work on any Soulful or Funky House dancefloor worldwide. (Antony Angell)
