This track from Soul Kitchen comes out of Elation Records, another new London label joining the throng of funky house imprints on the block. A variety of mixes are on offer, but the one to watch come thanks to a collaboration between Fabio Bachinna & Patrick L, who create a very cool groove with serious bumping beats. Listen out for the disco elements in this one too - it's loaded with pure funk. Meanwhile Greg Kozo goes for a pure soulful house remix, with hot keys, a funky bassline, guitar plucks and vintage brass sounds all present and correct. (CS)
