Another release taken from Phil Asher's forthcoming long player, Runnin' sees him team up with long-time cohort and master of the keys Marc Clive-De-Lowe for a boogie outing that ticks all the right boxes. The vocals are provided by Shea, who teamed up with Asher for his recent single Tricks, and she once again does a sterling job delivering a cutting vocal over that crisp boogie bassline. This may get overlooked by many on the house scene due to the fact that it clocks in around 118bpm, but good music is good music whatever the tempo. (Curtis Zack)
