Six mixes on this disco-tastic release that will have every bone in your body dancing away all night. First is the Disco mix, a brilliant bass guitar sits nicely over the top of some lovely percussion. The softly spoken words start, then this track steps to the mark with a nice little sax rift and the brilliant vocals take you on an almost Joey Negro/ Dimitri From Paris journey. This track as one of the best sax solos I have heard in a long time and nestled nicely in the middle of this track, there are some nice piano keys as well. This mix is guaranteed to get your floor moving, so much energy and beautiful vocals.
Label boss Gregory Del Piero is up next with his version of this classic in the making. He delivers a slightly deeper mix than others on this package. Gregory has used to vocal to its full extent and lyrics are delivered beautifully.
The Passion Vocal mix is the third vocal version on this package, you can see why it was called the passion vocal mix. Yet again, beautifully delivered vocals over a classic sounding disco house backing track. The thing that sets this track apart from the rest is the live percussion about half way through, and the extended sax rifts absolute quality.
A slightly tribally sounding start to the Dub mix before it breaks into the bass guitar and yet again the brilliant percussion. The live element is present also on this track, you can just see someone playing the drums in the studio alongside a sax player on this mix.Two instrumentals feature on this package as well. The West Coast and the House mix, both ideal for the more creative DJs or even just to play by themselves. The Bass guitars keep these mixes ticking over nicely.
A really good disco house package that will be in your cd wallets for many months to come. Think along the lines of the Mistura, Foreal People, Raw Essence, Dimitri From Paris and Z Records releases and you might be close. QUALITY!! (Antony Angell)
