In the making for a while it’s finally here. New York’s own Oscar P drops a slammin’ debut album on Open Bar Music, and slammin’ it literally is!!

On listening from start to finish, we’re taken on a funky, soulful, jackin and at times banging journey through house. Kicking off with the title track, Time Machine - a killer house beat pounds through a spoken vocal, giving a time-travelling story which constantly grabs you’re attention and paints a picture of house music over the last 20 years. Following this up is Oscar’s recent single, Crispified. Contributions & Collaborations come from Davidson Ospina, Marco Petralia, Jamie Lee, Physics, Christian Alvarez and Blackliquid.

Other highlights include Move On up, Sexo, and the last track, Dont Stop is a fantastic end to a great house artist album, and that’s something that doesn’t come around too often. Well worth your attention. 9/10 (Colin Sales)
