Os Malandros ‘Para Na Wey’ (Papa Records)

Headlines
Papa Records are proud and excited to welcome Os Malandros to the label with their primed for summertime, Brazilian infused single ‘Para Na Wey’.
OS Malandros (Brazilian Portuguese slang for 'The Hustlers') is a collaboration of two Djs who met at a Brazilian party in Manchester, three years ago. Irfan Hussain of Rainy City Music fame and Prashanth Pallemoni both share a love of House and Brazilian Music. Their passion for all things samba was further developed at Irfan's long running Brazilian party in Manchester (also based in London too) called Balanco, now running for seven years. Their debut release on Papa 'Para Na Wey' (a chant sung by Capoeira performers) stems from living with and around Brazilian culture for some time now.
The ‘Rainy City Music Mix’ is instantly infectious, picking you up and carrying you along for the samba ride, igniting dancefloors across the world from Rio to London! The catchy berimbau will have you hooked in in no time and the rhythmic chant will have your nearest disco in raptures. The Realm aka Toni Economides (KV5) and Oli Lazarus (Reel People / Papa Records), add a stripped down ‘Dub Mix’, which we think will work as a very cool dj tool.
