Nightrhymes – Chicago (Tempogroove)

Headlines
Following on from the rather huge track that (still) is Funk Manouver's Wait For Me, Reelgroove are releasing a rather special early Christmas present for us in the form of Nightrhymes' Chicago. The original version itself is a cool, almost jacking track with a slightly dirty bassline and gentle rhodes sounds, put together with an awesome vocal asking you exactly 'what are you gonna do in Chicago?' Remixes come from DJ Meme, who has produced a remix of epic proportions, with a simple bassline, piano and strings not far away from Strings Of Life. Next up, Alfred Azzetto makes his Reelgroove debut, and puts out a dark, electronic Ferrer-style remix for those 4am moments. Nightrhymes themselves have provided a darker ‘Space’ mix with an almost progressive arrangement; a main room thumper if ever we heard one. Finally, Steve Soulbasics brings an electro house remix to the table, ensuring this package has something for everyone. (Colin Sales)
