Mr. V is responsible for some of the coolest hip-house cuts around at the moment, and for Da Bump he invites NYC’s Miss Patty to the mic to help him out. The beats and the bass are relatively simple - it’s the vocals that do the job here. The chorus is painfully catchy, with the words ‘da da bibi da bump bump’ quickly etching themselves into your psyche. For the more discerning floors there is also a dub mix with some raucous crowd sounds to spice things up. This is easily one of the coolest house tracks of the summer.
