Morton Trust Feat Ida Corr – Put My Faith In You (MoHo 180)

Headlines
A brand new label and a brand new direction for the Groove Junkies, This time the GJ boys are going to be bringing some of the freshest talent to the nearest cdjs. The first release features the talent of Ida Corr from “Let Me Tink About It Fame”, this track has that electro feel to it along with the trademark GJ funky goodness. The mixes come in a few different forms including the GJs themselves, Morton Trust and the Dirty Freqs.
The GJs provide a Filth mix, expect main room action that will easily take the energy on the floor to another level, with the unmistakeable vocal of Ida. This mix has a very nice sounding electro bassline with that fresh funky edge which works so well. Ideal to get the women singing along to and fillimg the floors. The Prime Dub is up next, slighty stripped down vocals but the energy is still apparent on this rework. Also provided is GJ Prime Filthstrumental to go with the other two GJ mixes.
Dirty Freq provide a 4 in the morning hands in the air anthem, the break kicks in around 4.20 into this track and sends shivers down your spine as Ida vocal continues and the fat bass comes back in. The Dirty Freqs also provide us with a Dustrumental which is full of energy and could also take the floor to another level.
Mortens Digi Dub is quiet a laidback affair compared to the other remixes on this outstanding first release package, this could be easily released as a MoHo release. Funky, Soulful House at its best. (Antony Angell)
