It’s not very often that you come across a totally uplifting mixed album that makes you want to dance every time you hear it, but the Groove Junkies have done it with this release. Over 2 discs you get a mixed and unmixed version. The mix takes in all the tracks that are on the unmixed version which are all Groove Junkies tracks and include Love Has Come Around, Believe In Dreams, Kalakuta, Midnight, So Damn Crazy, Catch Your Shine and Oh Lord. The mix has been lovingly crafted and put together by the Groove Junkies and captures a small part of what these guys do live in DJ sets. When you look at the releases on the unmixed cd you see that the Groove Junkies have been behind some of the biggest anthems in the Soulful/Funky House genre over the last few years and long may it continue. This cd will capture the fans of old and also new followers of the Groove Junkies, brilliant mix and it hasn’t left my cd player in the car yet in over 2 weeks. (Antony Angell)
