Headlines
Luis Radio & Raffa get together in the studio and give us a brand new spanking track on Soulfuric Deep, this is a massive Church Organ affair. On this package Soulfuric Deep have been extremely kind and given us a massive selection of mixes to choose from. Of course you have a Main mix and a Dub but also Ray Jones and Shane D get in on the action supplying us with yet more choice, not forgetting the Drum Beats and Shane D’s Beats as well. The Main mix is Organ all the way with an extremely Funky Bass Guitar that sits so well over the top of some excellent 4 to the floor beats. The Dub goes a slightly deeper with the bass and an almost Tribal sounding accompanying bass. Ray Jones takes us Deep with a very Dennis Ferrer sounding rework that wouldn’t go a miss at Southport, this really is as Deep as the Ocean, The Organ is still present on this mix but the whole track seems alot slower and not as energetic as the Main but it sounds just right.
Next up by Ray Jones is the No Organ Dub, still very Deep, although the Organ is missing you still get a good workout with a nice piano instead, not so much Churchy as hypnotic and ideal for playing around with. One of the final guys up to the mixing desk is Shane D, with yet again another spin on this track, it’s Deep like the Ray Jones version but it has got that little something. Shane has also given us just under 4 minutes of beats to use and abuse as we see fit, personally I’m going to be digging out a good accappella and having a play, the beats can quiet easily be used as a filer in between tracks the same as the Drum Beats. Soulfuric Deep have done it again though, I’m not sure where the name for the track came from, but it deliverers all sort of mixes and possibilities for the creative DJs and will without a doubt keep and fill your floor when used. Awesome track that needs your attention and a prime place in your wallet. (Antony Angell)
