Reminiscent of Pepe Bradock’s modern classic Deep Burnt, Son Of Dragon blends soothing strings with funky, repetitive beats and a nagging synth to devastating effect. The Afromento mix adds some staccato beats, stabbing keys and a bassline funkier than Rick James’s sock drawer (god rest his soul).
