Lee Jones – There Comes A Time (Aus Music)

Headlines
Lee Jones used to craft glorious, downtempo broken beats under the name Hefner. After deciding to ditch the UK in 2002, he headed for house music's current worldwide epicentre, Berlin. Hooking up with Carsten Klemann and Nick Hoppner they formed My My and released the superb album Sons For The Gentle through the Playhouse imprint last year. And thank the lord for that. Now consumed in deepest, cerebral house and angular techno, he is releasing tracks under his own name too. This latest is as warm and toasty as a North Face parka. And considerably less expensive. In the unlikely event that the original mix isn't quite up your alley, try Prins Thomas's version. It throbs. (BA)
