This is the latest release on Ferrer’s Objektivity imprint, and phew – it’s a scorcher. I Can't Go Under is a genuine deep house anthem, and typical of Ferrer’s sound – all crisp beats, drums, with a few bleeps liberally scattered for good measure. This one just builds and builds with a gentle riff kicking in more than half way through to really bring things to a head. The vocal in particular is beautiful and really makes the track stand out from other previous releases on the label. The Main mix is definitely the one to go for here. Ferrer at his best, once again.
