83 West’s Tyrone Solomon and Martino Lozej are no strangers to most ardent underground house music fans, having spent the best part of a decade quietly releasing and reworking quality music from such luminaries as Kings of Tomorrow, Kerri Chandler, Jay-J Hernandez and Karizma on their own 83 West label. However their remixes this year - notably of Marlon D’s Affection and Faze Action’s The Waiting Is Over - look set to see them finally gain attention from a much wider audience. Though A Better Way began life as a George Mena and Frankie Estevez production, it’s 83 West who get the very best out of Darryl’s voice and in doing so provide a mix that looks sure to get the heads in a sweat.
