More proof here, if it were necessary, that Ewan Pearson is among the most talented producers and remixers on the planet. Sounding strangely like a cross between Bjork and Tracey Thorn (who Pearson has also provided his assured skills in the studio of late), Nashville-based Cortney Tidwell's fragile vocal is treated with the utmost respect in this undulating, chugging, alternative disco anthem. There's an instrumental version featured on this release, but why you'd want to dispense with the vocals... well, it's unthinkable. An end-of-night track if ever there was one. (BA)
