Kenny Dope turns his attention to funk legends Brand New Heavies and delivers a stunning rework of this hot number. The trademark Dope sound is present and correct; I Don't Know Why is loaded with skippy beats and an infectious acidic bassline. The vocal from original Heavy N’Dea Davenport is as you would expect; stunning. Kenny then goes the extra mile and includes an instrumental, some naked beats and a dub version, the latter of which is just as useful as the original. A remarkable effort from one half of the legendary Masters At Work. (CS)
