The second release on Just4Funk recordings and we see label owner Andrea Carissimi teaming up with the brilliant vocalist Wendy Lewis who has had releases on Mix2Inside recordings amongst others. This package comes with six versions for you to choose from, even tho two are Instrumentals. Andrea Carissimi delivers two reworks, a Soulful mix and a Just4fun remix as well. The brilliant Central Avenue and Steven Stone both supply us with vocal and Instrumental versions too.

The Soulful mix is a cross between spoken vocal and singing, hard to describe but it works really well, this is the type of track you could expect to hear playing at a Beach Bar or somewhere like Southport Weekender. Next up is the Just4Funk remix, the same strong vocal performance is delivered but the mix is taken up one level, slightly more of a clubby feel to it but maintaining the Soulful elements which is so hard to do but its well carried off in this mix. Central Avenue step up next to the table with a slightly more piano driven remix, which I can see the likes of DJ Spen and Tony Humphries going for. Finally Steven Stone is up, this time a slightly more deeper mix that breaks down into the spoken word then the vocal starts again. An impressive package that will put a smile on any true Soulful heads face. (Antony Angell)
